Yesterday was my Dad's birthday and what he really wanted was pics of his classic truck. I was only too happy to oblige. I rarely get to do something special for him and he truly deserves it. Well, what he really deserved was for an awesome pro photographer to do his pics, but I did my best. He loves them.

Blue Skies

So, I'm betting you're all wondering if and when a new digi kit is coming. Me too. I'm not really wondering if so much as when, because I know what I'm up too (can you see the evil genius face and wringing hands when I say "up too" lol) . It's the when that's puzzling. I have a kit well on the way and normally I would say in a week and meet that deadline. BUT, it's pretty outside and I'm easily distracted by the sunshine. I was the kid that always sat in the back of the class and stared out the window at the blue sky and fluffy clouds, daydreaming up my escape. You're all glancing up at the photo now aren't you? Come on, admit it. Blue skies are distracting! Anyway, currently, I find myself outside all the time. This makes it difficult to design and scrap. I have considered taking the laptop outside but I'm thinking the glare would be hard to deal with and if I'm in the shade on a computer, well, what's the point of being outside? No, the laptop can't go outside, the collision of the worlds cannot happen except in the photography realm. So, that leaves me to work at night and well, sometimes, I sleep. What's the point of this rambling you wonder? Simply to let any of you who are wondering know that a new kit is coming and depending on the weather, in about week. Basically, I'm getting ready to , think about doing, quite possibly in the near future, at some point down the road, in a spell, potentially upload a new kit that may or may not be to your liking, maybe... Glad I could clear that up! I feel much better now and hope y'all do too! Now, I ummmm, well, need to do something... outside... :)

Time Flies

Time flies, I'm not throwing clocks out of my window... again. Nope, time is really flying by. School is out for the summer. I have all of my kids home with me full time and I'll tell you a little secret, I love it. Sure, my oldest, we'll call him Hollywood, is a full throttle, teenage know-it-all, my oldest daughter, Diva, is already "bored", youngest son (Old Soul) is emotional, and Lil' Miss is so excited to find them all at her disposal when she awakes that she's hyper. My house is a little crazy and they've been out of school since they got home on hmmmm... when was it... oh yeah, Friday lol! Yes, all the boredom has happened in a day and a half. In that time period they have went to my parent's house to ride go-karts and motorcycles and have Kentucky Fried Chicken and are now at the movie "Up" and going to IHOP with their other Grandparents! Oh the agony, oh the boredom... Oh help me. My search for peace and tranquility has begun.
