Ingredients:
2 2/3 cups flaked coconut
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
4 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 ounces semi sweet chocolate
1/2 teaspoon shortening
Grease and flour a cookie sheet, preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine coconut, flour, sugar, and salt in large mixing bowl. Stir in egg whites and almond extract. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto cookie sheet and bake 20-25 minutes until edges are golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Melt shortening and chocolate together and drizzle with a fork over cooled macaroons. Enjoy :)
